Patricia Zodda is Professor of Exercise and Human Performance (formerly Physical Education) and Chair of the department. She came to RCC in 1994 and earned full-time teaching status in 2000.  She teaches courses in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Fitness and Wellness, Fitness Counseling, and Beginning Swimming.

Zodda is a Certified Personal Trainer accredited by the National Council of Strength and Fitness. She encourages her students to pursue lifelong fitness goals and structures her curriculum to maximize students' enjoyment and appreciation of exercise activity, as well as its recreational and social benefits. She chairs the Fitness Specialist Certificate and Human Performance Studies AS Degree programs. Zodda also supports the College through her involvement in academic committees and has deep roots in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Clarkstown Central Athletic Foundation.
