Peter Andryuk came to the College in 2004 as a Paramedic adjunct and was appointed EMS Education Coordinator in 2007. He served for 30 years as an EMS paramedic for the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) and brought 25 years of diverse EMS teaching experience to the RCC EMS program. He has been a paramedic instructor with the EMS Bureau of Training in the New York City 911 System, and also has training and experience in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Andryuk has been teaching EMS providers and conducting continuing education lectures for more than 25 years.

Andryuk served as EMS Instructor Coordinator at the Emergency Care Institute of Bellevue Medical Center in New York and the Institute of Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. He also was Paramedic Training Coordinator at LaGuardia Community College/Booth Memorial Medical Center in Queens, NY, and an adjunct lecturer at The New School in New York. He continues to work part-time in the New York City 911 system operating out of a hospital in Queens.
