Upsilon Iota Club Chapter

Fridays, Times vary
Academic I, Room 1113

Sponsored by Pace University, the Upsilon Iota Club Chapter of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society at Rockland Community College was installed on April 26, 2013. This society provides opportunities for students to develop their interests in the wide-ranging field of biology. Members are encouraged to participate in research activities. Our members have presented their findings at recognized events as the SUNY Innovative Exploration Forum, SUNY Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Activities Forum, and the annual Beta Beta Beta NE-1 District Convention. Members also select their own field trips and community events; such as the Body World Exhibition in NYC, Earth Day events, and various hikes in and around Rockland County. At club meetings, the members of the club read and discuss scholarly journals in various biological topics, and complete research experiments.
