Nelson Boyce ’90, Sam Draper Honors, has been NYC-based Director of Agency Business Development at Google since September 2015, overseeing the Publicis Group Holding Company of Advertising Agencies. In this role, Nelson is responsible for designing and implementing partnership initiatives, negotiating large-scale complex deals spanning media and platforms. He is also tasked with forging a strong partnership approach to the agency business, growing and diversifying revenue, and serving as a key ambassador for Google in the industry.

Prior to his position at Google, Boyce was Senior Vice President of East Coast Media Sales for Black Entertainment Television (BET) Networks from 2012 to 2015, responsible for generating traditional TV and digital ad sales revenue and managing a team of 10 ad sales professionals. He played a major role in the sales strategy and process for the division. For the previous two years, he served as Senior Vice President of Ad Sales Strategy at Nickelodeon, supporting senior management in developing short-term and long-range sales strategy and plans, and was SVP of Digital Ad Sales prior to that.

Before switching to media, Boyce was a financial analyst with PaineWebber in its Mergers and Acquisitions group.

Boyce graduated from Harvard with a BA in Government. He lives in New Rochelle, NY, with his wife, Michelle, and son, Ferro.
