Art Info Session

Join us for our Virtual Art Info Session!

Join our Art Department Faculty and Admissions Reps to find out more about the art degrees at RCC. Professors from our Photography, Fine Arts, Animation/Interactive Media and Visual Communication programs will be discussing classes, showing student work, and answering questions about admissions and the financial aid process.

As one of the best two-year art programs in the country, Rockland Community College offers students the chance to create an outstanding body of work for transfer to four-year institutions or learn skills needed for the workplace under the mentorship of a talented and inspiring faculty of professional artists.

The study of art prepares students for a wide variety of careers that produce the images and objects that infuse our daily lives. Rockland Community College Art students complete foundation courses in design, drawing, digital design, photography and art history. A degree in Fine Arts, Photography, or Graphic Design prepares students to pursue careers in graphic design, animation, illustration, photography, fine arts and more. An exciting new Animation & Interactive Media track joins the Visual Communication track for those pursuing RCC's Graphic Design AAS degree. Many graduates have transferred to prestigious professional art schools to specialize in one or more of these fields. Others have found employment in digital design and photography studios and some students elect to finish a four-year degree in art education.

We hope you can join us!
