About Faculty/Staff Campaign

RCC New Faculty/Staff Campaign

This year we are embarking on a new approach that has been extremely successful with other community colleges to engage committed faculty and staff to help raise money for our students’ success.

How will my gift be used?

This year, gifts to the Faculty/Staff Campaign will be returned, on a per-capita basis, to each division on campus that will determine how the money will be spent.

Why give?

Our students need your support! Your gift to the Faculty/Staff Campaign is not only a tax-deduction but also a vote of pride and confidence in our College.

How do I make a gift?

To give by check, make checks payable to the Rockland Community College Foundation and write Faculty/Staff Campaign in the memo section.

You can also use Visa, MasterCard or American Express to make a total payment or you can make equal monthly installments towards your pledge. Make a donation online.

Can I do payroll deductions?

Yes, all employees can give this way and it is the easiest way to give. The processes is to fill out the campaign pledge form and payroll deduction form. Deductions can begin as soon as you like and for as long as you like.

What about Matching Gift Programs?

Please inquire if your spouse/partner’s employer matches gifts to charities, in which case, your gift can be doubled or tripled. If there is such a program, have your spouse/partner make out the check or use their credit card, then request a matching gift application from their company.

How much should I give?

This is up to you and your culture of generosity and gift-giving. You can give at the level you feel most comfortable with. However, every gift, no matter what the size, matters a great deal. Please refer to the accompanying charts for an idea on credit card/payroll deductions.

When does the campaign end?

This campaign is on-going. Funds raised by the end of each calendar year will be redistributed to divisions starting late January for programs and projects aligned with supporting student success.
